My two latest Audible.com “listens”
I just finished listening to Wikinomics which is all about the new aspects of business collaboration…things like wikis (Wikipedia) and open source development (Linux.) It’s amazing how much of what is covered in this book is what we are focusing on right now inside of the Lotus brand at IBM. Instead of my teams developing content in-house and delivering that content through traditional web delivery “Info Centers” and online help, we are putting lots of energy into exploring new Web 2.0 ways of driving collaborative content development (for example, using wikis.) It’s all really exciting.
My current “listen” is Microtrends. It identifies some of the latest economic microtrends and predicts how they are lining up to make huge impact on society. It’s good so far.
